Re: 700r and a LT1

There are pluses and minuses to both. What condition is your 700r4 in? Is the LT-1 stock? If it were my project and the 700 was fresh and or in good conditon, I'd locate a required 93f body tv cable bracket, replace / upgrade the converter and finish the motor swap. Just my

LT1 + Fresh 700R4 + small converter + a healthy dose of spray + 100 octane= FUN.
Don't be scared

Re: 700r and a LT1

LT1 cars came with the 700R4 and its computer controlled variant as well. They hold up just fine. TH400 probably isn't worth the trouble untill you're making north of 600hp.
