clutch will not disengage all the way

i have replaced the slave cylinder and the master cylinder both. i bled the system very well, the pedal is firm. the only way i get it to fully disengage all the way is if i pump it up 3 or 4 times. then put in into gear. otherwise it wont go into gear. anyone else come across this? it only disengages if i pump it.
