Automatic Shifter Loose

I noticed when I took the car for a test drive after installing the Hedman Longtube headers that when I was just cruising and getting ready to punch it for a WOT throttle, the shifter was loose when I was in any gear. There was alot of play. Can anybody tell me whats wrong and how it can be fixed?

Re: Automatic Shifter Loose

see if its come unbolted, its seems to be a common issue. It bolts to the pan, make sure that bracket is tight, and make sure that the bolt in the linkage it there/tight as well.

Re: Automatic Shifter Loose

Alright, I hope this is it. This would save me money instead of getting an aftermarket shifter.
