Hey guys a 700R4 Question.

I know after driving my trans am that its a good tranny and all but is there anyway to allow it to shift into 4th gear while over 3k RPM because I'm sure thats the breaker. If the pedal is pressed full bore or I break 3k RPM it won't shift into 4th. I know its built to not do so but any ways?

And I was wondering honestly how difficult do you guys think it would be to swap the 700 for something like a T56(Six Speed Manual)? I mean probably some cutting involved to place a Clutch pedal I hope not but I would be willing to just prefer not to.

Re: Hey guys a 700R4 Question.

B&M sells a replacment TV Valve that allows the tranny to operate in O.D. at a higher RPM than stock. It costs about $30 and isn't to hard to install.
