I never remember to address this problem, because it hardly ever happens. I drive this car almost every day. But whenever I leave town for an extended vacation, it dumps tranny fluid everywhere. It usually happens after 5 or 6 days. Do I have a seal that just allows the leak after a while?

The other tranny problem that I have is that if I am at WOT, on the 2-3rd shift something breaks free and it revs up as if it is in neutral. When I let off the throttle, and the RPM drops back down, it clunks really loud and pops back into gear and is fine. I don't know if this is related, but it is my other tranny problem.

Has anyone had these problems with 700r4?

its "most likely" the inner pump

i had this problem only it would only leak everyday where the car wasnt on and not leak when it was on

inner pump was my problem

just sucks because they gota drop the whole tranny to get in and fix it

500 bucks later it hasnt leaked since and they replaced teh fluid and every little gasket you can think of while they were in there

Thanks for the info. I have another one that has about 1k on it, I might just replace it with that one and put a higher stall converter in at the same time.
