What do you have to do to take the transmission cover off?

I took all the bolts out and it wouldnt come off. Im talking about the transmission cover on top of the T-5 tranny's.

you have to take the tail housing off to remove the top cover of a t-5.

I took all of the tailhousing bolts out, but it still wont come off. I see that there is a roll pin to knock out. When you hit the roll pin down, where exactly does it go and how do you put it back in?
