downshift from 4th to 3rd in 700r4

It goes into neutral for about a second then the car starts to go. This only happens when the car reaches 4th and downshifts to 3rd. Since I knew about this I have been keeping it in Drive, but I pop it into overdrive when crusing over 60. Anyone know the problem and how/when I will have to fix it? Thanks.

I'm not 100% sure (or even 80%) but:

Maybe the valve is stuck in the valve body. Most shift kits eleminate the spring for the 4-3 down. If the 3-4 is ok, I don't see a major prob. (unless slipping causes heat which expands clearance in the pack causing it to stick or something)
