clutch master cylinder: Advance Auto vs Autozone or other

Anybody know the difference (if there is one) between an Adv. Auto and AZ clutch master cylinder? the Adv one is fully $20 more and I'm wondering if it's a little tougher. I've been using the AZ part and haven't had much luck, as you can see in this thread:
