Car: Camaro Engine: Carbed L98 Transmission: TH350 Axle/Gears: 3.73 | Which TH350 dipstick tube did you use???? I swapped from my old 700R4 to a Th350. I tried a cheap chrome one with the oring, but it bent too easy. I used a stock one out of a truck and cut the tube down to the same lenght as the chrome one. I then used the chrome dipstick in the GM tube.
Everything fit fine, it even slipped in with the trans in place. The only problem is it leaks. I tried a new oring and it still leaks.
I am going to try a new dipstick tube and replace the tv cable seal.
Which dipstick tube did you guys use?
I have tried to find one with the top hat seal, but gm doesnt list one. All I can find are universal ones. Has anyone used one?
What about the double o-ring Lokar? Do they work ok? Do I need the long or short version?
