swapping rear from 3.08 to 3.42 need help with speedo gears.

my buddy jim got a 87 iroc with 5.0 tpi and 5speed tranny (bone stock) 3.08 drum posi gear. the 3.08 sh*t the bed and we got a mint 3.42 posi drum ready to go in it. but all we need is are the speedo gears..which ones do we need color,teeth count, part numbers would b great. also i 4got which one is driven and which one is the drive gear. thanks for the info ed

3.42 gears in a T5 with stock tires is a 7 tooth blue drive gear and a 19 tooth white driven gear.

EDIT: Search this forum and I bet you can find the part numbers too.

thanks... the dealer in my area couldnt help me at all he just knows how to look up parts and set them on a counter then say "cash or charge"
