broken cross pin and mini-spool NFG

After one week with my new project car my crosspin and mini spool are shot I have 4.56 and a 700r4 355 9.5-1 alum heads victor jr 750 holley no slicks. What can i use to lock my axles together? Lock rite , powertrax, new mini spool? what about hardened cross pins? Will they last? Should I just forget it and get a 9" with a spool I am Not!
opposed to a spool on the street. Also has anyone used the South Side Mach rear suspention kit that eliminates the torque arm do they work what about ladder bars? Thanks for ANY suggestions!!

All the other options you listed except for another mini-spool are good ideas. Mini-spools are only meant for staggered axle dirt track racing.

I HAVE LADDER BARS ON MY 84 MARO, THEY WORK GOOD, I ALSO HAVE A LINCON LOCKER IN IT, AND IT ALSO WORKS GOOD, AND IS A HELL OF ALOT CHEAPER. JUST MY .02
