1983 z28 clutch adjustment

i just put a clutch kit in my z28 and can not get it to adjust right can anyone help? im sure the kit is in right because i can push the clutch fork with my foot and disengage it but cant bget the peral to adjust to do it

What have you done so far to adjust it? Did you put in the throwout bearing the right way?

I got your email... you adjusted it all the way out? How much free play is in the pedal itself? It should have about 1/2 or so when just sitting at the top.

Can you take any pics of the linkage, so we can see what your dealing with, or maybe someone can spot something that maybe you overlooked?

Post back here though, as someone else may know something or suggest something that you or I may not.

ill get pics of it tomorrow but yes i have it adjusted all the way out and there is like no free play i thinkit is all moving like it should it is just not moving far enough
