T56-Adjustable Master- Necessary or convient?

I am getting the last parts of my T56 to install to my LS1.

I need the hydraulics and wasn't sure what I should buy.

Found stock LS1 t56 setup on ebay for 199 plus shipping.

1) Can I use this or am I better off buying an adjustable setup?
2) Different topic, can I use a 98-02 factory hurst shifter on a 94-97 t56?
3) Can I use 85 stock torque arm with t56?

BTW, I am using a converted 96 t56 mating with LS1.

Are you using the third or fourth gen clutch pedals? I'm using the 3rd gen pedals and the clutch engagement is a little early for me, and adjustable hydraulics would be convenient. I've heard with the 4th gen pedals that the engagement point is closer to stock.

Also, tpiparts has the hydraulic kit for $172.

Re: T56-Adjustable Master- Necessary or convient?

Wow, I just realized I wrote convient instead of convenient.

anyway, thanks Caleb for the info. I have the money to spend but I'm trying to be as budget minded as possible to get further along.

I planned on using third gen clutch pedal assy.

Unless someone chimes in with a "IMO, the adjustable setup is very necessary for optimum longevity of the clutch.", I'll probably order the stock one on ebay.

Or, is there any recommended adjustable master/ slave kits for less than 300?

Contact Tick Performance about their adj master. It already has the new slave line so you don't need to worry about the drill mod on the stocker.

Unless your clutch requires the adj master, it's not required. Some (like the Mcleod street twin) do require it.

Great info, thanks.

I doubt I'll need it for my oem LS1 clutch. I'll definately consider upgrading once the tq goes up!!!

Thanks everyone.
