TCI Governor recalibration kit

i have freshly rebuilt 700r4 but it shifts out of frist gear at 4500rpm. I was told i need to use the governor recalibration kit has anyone used it and what weight and spring should i use i have 2400 converter and 410 gears
also how hard is it to do and can it be done in the car

easy to do,
can be done in the car by removing the small cover on the drivers side (not the passenger side!!!!!!!!)
takes approx 30-40minutes to complete, jacking up the car and all.
if you jack it from the rear hardly any atf comes out if any
can re-seal the cover with silicone

heaviest weight makes shifts earlier make sense?
grind weight off or take weight off to shift later(like your 4500 rpm)

move one up from stock

I just put the corvette gov in and I am way more happy than my adjustments with the wieghts and springs

I also wanted to tune it down a bit

im looking for it to shift at 5700 to 5800 that is where my car makes the most power
