the one I saw was the one where you just turn a dial to the MPH you want it to lock up at. but I saw one in the camaro performance magazine that some guy had and it was just a switch you can turn off or on. The reason I don't like the dial one is because if I am out on the street I don't want to have to turn the knob so that the lockup won't come on if I am racing. I just want to be able to switch it on or off as I please and not just set it on a dial.
Hope you get what I am saying, I don't really know how to explain it.
Thanks everyone
Ok, the one you're thinking of is the B&M kit, which has a part that goes inline with the speedo cable to lock up above a certain speed. I believe it also has a vacuum switch that unlocks the TCC under load, but I'm not sure.
It sounds like you just want a manual switch, in which case you can just use any old toggle switch.
short the top left and the top right pins on the ALDL connector together using a switch, mount the switch right on your shifter if you can, full lock up in 2nd is great!
