Shifting Problem

I have a 1989 RS Camaro with an automatic tranny. When it shifts, it has a big bump to it, and sometimes it feels like its shifting one tire at a time.
Can anybody help me figure out what in the world this could be? I really need this car, and I cant afford to brake something serious by continuing to drive it like that.

Re: Shifting Problem

Thats kinda what I was thinking. But, it doesnt really feel like its coming from the tranny. It kinda feels like it farther back.
