I tried searching around our site and couldn’t really find any solutions. So I figured I post a new Thread.
I'm planning on changing out the tranny fluid in my T-5, finally. But a good friend at work whose own a third gen Camaro, before, swore by using Lucas tranny fix oil, with synthetic. I tried a search on Google and it turned up a Mustang website and they went back and forth about using a Synthetic. One guy said that it's to thin and it'll make 1-2 harder to shift, because it's not thick enough.
If that would be the case, would Lucas oils, semi synthetic be a good choice? I was looking at using either Lucas, Redline, Valvoline or Mobil. Any thoughts, help, hints or suggestions would be cool. Or what do you use and why.
