can't make donuts, posi slipping HELP!

is there anything to do for slipping posi? symptoms are: if i turn and hit the floor, only one wheel is spinning. only way to make decent donuts is to burn some rubber with brake and when both wheels are smoking, release the brake. but it would be more nice to just do donuts with gas pedal anything i can do to fix posi or to make it more tight?

-P (just wondering)

I don't know why you want to do donuts but anyway you need to remove the cover and see if you have a gov loc rear, get a new diff if you do, see if its a cone type posi, if it is get a new diff, if its a clutch type posi with a Z shaped spring get a new diff, if its a clutch type posi with coil type springs rebuild it. Go with an auburn for a low priced cone type diff, or get an Eaton for a high dollar bullet proof differential.

Send a message via ICQ to ede
spinning the tires while turning is about the best way to trash a posi.
