Best Cam and Converter combo for 305 TBI

I am about to undergo my first attempt at giving my 305 some help with performance while I build a 350.
I am installing hedman headers, flowmasters, 9 bolt BW rear with a 3.73 gear and an after market air filter.
I need some help picking out the best stall converter and cam combo for my 305 TBI. It will continue to be my daily driver, but I want to a make a little more power when I need it. I read some great threads, but none speak of the best cam/converter combo. I think with the rear everything else should be set.
Some Ideas?

Lets choose the converter to work with the 355. What cam and heads will it have? No point in changing the cam in the 305 with a 355 in the works.

Re: Best Cam and Converter combo for 305 TBI

Well, the 350 is going to be a work in progress over the next couple of years, I just wanted to add a little more horsepower to what I have now. I wanted purchase an LS1 cam for the 350, but thats in its early conception. What would you suggest as a good cam and converter for the 305? And will the cam change mean lifter and rocker changes also?

LS1 cams can't be installed in 350s.

What suggestions would you have?
Does anyone have an idea of what size stall and cam and lifter package work well together for the best possible performance for a daily driver 305 sbc
