t56 gear ratio
im looking into a t56 swap and i understand there are different t56's. lt1 vs ls1 vs retro. i also remember something about different lt1 t56's. i have read the difference in their gear ratio's on one thread but i cant find it again. can someone please either direct me to it or let me know the different ratios per t56.

Re: t56 gear ratio
For a third gen swap the '94-up LT1 T56 is the prefered unit. Plus the .50 6th gear is amazing. My car turns 1,800 RPM at 80MPH with 3.73 rear gears.
