Car: 1991 Trans Am Engine: L98 Transmission: T56 | T56 swap questions I posted this in the electronics section and got no response so I thought maybe I would get more help here: Quote:
In the process of swapping to a t56 and will obviously be using the Dakota Digital box during the swap to work my stock speedometer. However, shortly after swapping the t56 in, I plan on running a megasquirt setup instead of the stock ecm. The MS does not have an input or output for a VSS so I am wondering if I can connect the SGI5 box straight to the speedometer instead? I don't see why this wouldn't work as long as I programmed the box correctly right?
What am I missing here?
| Also I will be using this post with any questions I run into with my swap. | | |
