T5 Master and T56 Slave cylinder

T5 Master and T56 Slave cylinder
Alright for all that have done the T56 swap here's a question. I've searched the board about the different issues with 3rd gen pedals and 4th gen master cylinder pedal travel. So my question is - would it be possible to use the original 3rd gen master cylinder with the 4th gen hose and slave cylinder. I'm about to do a T56 swap into an 89 RS with T5.
Thanks John S.

Re: T5 Master and T56 Slave cylinder
I am in the same boat your in and I hope it is as easy as just pulling the roll pin and installing the lt1 line in the 3rd gen master. also I want to know if 3rd gen slave is the same as the lt1, because I know the bolt pattern is the same

Re: T5 Master and T56 Slave cylinder
I found this link for an adapter to make your own hose to make the setup work with out switching pedals :

Anyone try this? I think this is the route I'm going go.
