T-5 to T-56

When swapping from a T-5 to an OEM T-56:
Do you need to make the hole for the shifter larger?
Can you reuse the master cylinder from the T-5?
thanks,
Chris

yes the hole needs to be 1 inch further back than the t-5. and you mean the slave cylinder right? that also needs to be changed, i dont know the part # but i do know that there are 2 diff slave cylinders, do a search and it should yeild you some part #'s for the slave cylinder.
