speedo gears

I just got a t5 and need to find the speedo gears and the adapter to go from electronic to mechanical speedo. If i did the math correctly I need a 7 and a 17 gear to make my speedo correct. I have a 3.23 rear and I am running 18 inch C5 rims on the rear. I have done searches on here as well as the rest of the web and I can't seem to find all these in one place......Any suggestions?

Also an adapter for the reverse lights and the neutral safety...I had a 700r4

Re: speedo gears

Just bought mine on ebay. I only needed the driven gear of 45 teeth though. It cost me 8.00 plus 3.00 shipping.

Re: speedo gears

I checked out that Transmission center site... I have no clue which one i need! I have a stock 700r4 with a eaton posi 3.73 motive gears in the back... When I'm going 50km/hour on my speedo, in reality i'm going about 60km/hour.

Which driven gear do I need to get?! And the last time I used a plastic one it snapped in half in 5 minutes... Are aluminum ones better??

Thanks!

Heres another site to look on. It also has a speedo calculator you input tire size and rear end gear and it calculates what gears you need for the speedo. Mine was a 15 tooth and a 45 tooth. for the same setup that you have. http://www.bowtieoverdrives.com/index.shtml
