I've never experienced a car that had a slipping tranny. I replaced a clutch on my Trans Am so I know what that felt like. As I increased the rpm's the clutch slipped more an more.
Now on my 700r4, when I jump on it WOT, the car stands still or slowly accelerates and the rpm's go up, then at 3000k to 3200 the car just starts going, and never slips at all. I have a 2400 rpm stall torque converter. Tranny flushed and filter changed 3 years ago, since than maybe 5k miles at most. Fluid looks pink, and doesn't smell abnormal. I compared to my silverado truck.
So, i'm not sure what is going on. Just out of the blue this is happened.
