Transmission sluggish after TransGo kit installation - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

About 2 years ago I installed a TransGo shift kit in my transmission. Ever since I did that, my transmission just didn’t feel right. At first I thought it was just me but now I know for a fact that it’s not shifting right when in Drive. All the other modes appear to be fine, especially 1st and 2nd gear.

When I have it in drive it feels like it’s in 2nd from a dead stop, it’s like I’m waiting for the car to pick up speed. While cruising, if I floor it, it doesn’t down shift right way, it tries to pick up some speed and then, after a while it downshifts.

It just feels very sluggish.

I tried to search the forum but I don’t even know what to search for, is it transmission doesn’t downshift, shift points are messed up, etc?

I’m just hoping somebody can interpret the symptoms for me and then figure out what I need to do.

I have the car on jack stands now for a suspension upgrade so I won’t be able to do any testing but I am planning on pulling the transmission out to replace the rear main seal so if I need to do any work on the transmission now would be a good time.

Please let me know what you think is going on.

Lol, that's where I got the kit from. Does he offer lifetime support?
