Engine: Orig 305 Crossfire FI 36,500 miles

Transmission: original 200c THM

Axle/Gears: original 3.23 posi

TH200c TCC solenoid

I need to replace the TCC solenoid in my TH200c trans. Can anyone tell me if the TCC solenoid can be removed while the transmission is on the car?
I know the TH200c is a crappy trans. but I want to keep my 1982 WS6 Crossfire FI Trans AM a numbers correct car. Thanks, David
