t56 shifter

How tall is your t56 shifter? This one is Pro 5.0 Shifter.
My shift ball just touches the t5 shtift boot.
I would like it to be just a little taller mabye and inch to two inches.
It does not feel right with my forearm on the console lid when shiften.
The t5 is maybe touch high.

Appreciate suggestions or if

Re: t56 shifter

Why not just get a different stick? There are aftermarket sticks for the T56 in all differend lengths.

I actually put a short stick on my '97 Z28 when I put a Hurst shifter on it. Its about 2" shorter. It was weird for awhile, but it felt pretty good after using it for a few days. How long have you had yours installed?

Re: t56 shifter

I did not do the install and have had it only a couple of weeks.
You answered my question about length, thank you, I will just measure it and look for one a little longer.
