If yors is a 1991, then it is a 30 spline. Go to https://www.700r4l60e.com/store/home.php?cat=19 This will give you a choice as to what you need or want here. Let me know if I can be of help? Dana

Re: 700R4 rebuild kit help

Get the kit AHP35003RK-S1 from the first site listed for a good high power performance kit or 74009B-BS will probably be more than good enough to handle what your doing and use either one with shift kit T74171

Re: 700R4 rebuild kit help

The mechanic told me he already bought all the parts to rebuild it from you r website that you gave he said he has used that kit on most high performance transmissions he builds, and that he has always been happy with also his clients.

Re: 700R4 rebuild kit help

good working 700r4's are hard to come by with regular mechanics. Most of the time it takes a transmission builder with a lot of 700r4 rebuild experience to make a good 700r4 regardless of if the kit is the best in the world.

Re: 700R4 rebuild kit help

i'm procharged too. a p600. tired of it though and switching to a big block. you apparently got it under control with the rebuild, but seriously a general tech doing your rebuild. PM me back after install and tell how it turns out. it does take better than average trans rebuild skills to get good 700.

Re: 700R4 rebuild kit help

He said he has rebuild transmissions before. Not sure if he is a expert at these transmissions though. I don't think he is specialist on transmissions, because he mostly does engine rebuilds. He just told me that he cannot help me out no more so i am gonna go back to save more money to buy a rebuild transmission
that sucks.
