Group Purchase - Dana 60 from Spohn or Equal
I spoke with Steve from Spohn today, he is willing to do a group purchase for a discount on the bolt in rear ends. He said if we got 5 people he would take 5% off, not much but it's better then nothing. Perhaps he would be willing to take more off depending on how many people would be interested.
The only obvious choice for this is the Dana 60, its the strongest bolt in rear end for our f-bodys and its the cheapest.
Here is the link..... http://www.spohn.net/shop/1982-1992-...-Complete.html
I would like to see how many people would be interested in doing a group purchase. Even if we don't go through Spohn, im sure someone is hungry enough for the business to give us a good discount.
I plan on purchasing within the next couple weeks.
Let me know.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm surprised, not a single person is interested yet. Maybe everyone is busy this weekend lol

From what I've heard that Spohn doesn't do group buys so I'd contact Bruce from Hawks, maybe he could do something.

Go to the Spohn website, or just click on the link I posted, you can pick all the rear end options on the website.

Every rear end will be made to order. You can choose any ratio, locker / spool, spline etc etc.
I still have not ordered my rear end yet. I'm waiting on enough guys willing to buy it.
C'mon people, the Dana 60 is the best option for our cars....we need to ditch our 10 bolts before they ditch us!!!! lol

I'm interestd. 9bolt on it's last legs. Is 3.54 the highest ratio they make? I'd really prefer a 3.27 or thereabouts. Keep me in mind if you get something put together.

Dude, dont buy a 9", the S60 is much better. I am ordering one even if this group buy falls through, its just a better rear all around, unless its a trailer to the track kinda car then the 9" is good enuff and will make you a little faster due to the less mass.

I would be interested in this, but you need a new driveshaft with the S60
that gets expensive
