th350 electric driven speedo..92 RS Camaro

hi, I have done some research and can still not find a straight answer on this.

I have a 1992 Camaro RS which originally had a 305 TBI/700r4. The owner I got the car off of had a carbed 355/th350 swapped in its place. Speedometer didn't work obviously cause the th350 was cable driven.

My question would be is it possible to swap a speed sensor tail shaft housing off of a 700r4 and bolt it to the th350?

I have also heard there is an adapter to convert the cable drive into the correct signal, but would like to know if the first route would work first, if not where would I be able to find a good adapter?

thanks! Cory...

you can use a BOP th350 housing on the th350 with a large hole and install an electric vss that is plastic gear driven.
