Car: 89 Camaro RS Engine: LO3 TBI Transmission: 700R4 => WC T-5 Axle/Gears: 3.42 Open Diff | 700R4 fluid treatments?
I've got a 700R4 with a slipping reverse. I'm told this is a rebuild condition as the clutch that controls reverse and first is on its way out. I want to swap a manual and really only need the car to get through emissions so I can get my registration done.
So I'm looking for any tips, tricks, fluids, treatments, etc that you have used that has fixed your trans temporarily. This is a project car, not daily driven. I just need the reverse working well enough to get the car on and off the dyno for its emissions test. | | |
