is this an input shaft seal? or an output seal?

that orange seal, it’s where the axle slides in. I bought "Drive axle seals" but apparently those aren’t it. so it’s either input or output seals?

I'm assuming thats some fwd transmission, its an output shaft seal.

yeah, its the 5 speed in my geo storm. Thanks man, I figured that was it, but had to double check since I screwed up the first time lol
