700r4 problems...help?..not sure if convertor or front pump - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

hey, i recently rebuilt my tranny, w/a ll high performance kolene steels and alto frictions, did the 13 vane pump upgrade, and a stall convertor, deep pan and cooler,

i had a small problem bout a week after, basically my bad...front seal went,

so i replaced it and it's been good scince..
i have noticed though, more now then before,
if i'm at part throttle, and punch it, sometimes i hear like a hissing noise, coming from the tranny...

also when car is either in rev, or drive, and i'm stopped at a light, i hear like an intermittant scraping sound, does it for like 2 seconds, then stopps.

otherwise transmission shifts strong into second and third.?...any ideas?...tranny fluid is clean w/ no signs of burning...

it sounds like it's coming from the front of the tranny, flywheel looks good, no cracks, has anyone else had this occur to them?.. if so what was done to solve it...

does it sound like a convertor or front pump problem?...
any info would be greatly appreciated....

turned out to be a bad convertor, it began to get worse, until it sounded like a tin can rattling whenever in drive, reverse or any
low gear......
