700R4 with torque converter $200 Good deal?

hi i have a 91 trans am and i just blew my tranny. my dad found a 700R4 with torque converter auto. for $200 outta a wrecked camaro with 117000 miles on it. is this a steal? should i just change the filter and flush the fluid and bolt it up and just see if it works? or are there signs to look for in a bad tranny?

That seems a bit high to me. For a hundred bucks more, I got motor to transmission. Whole shibang at the local salvage yard. Their stuff also had a 30 day warranty.
