ok other day got in my car and went to back out of my driveway the car went from reverse to neutral and after neutral there was no drive no tension on shifter at all so i go to put it in park and it hits reverse but no resistance again on the whole shifter so now my car is stuck in reverse.so i figured it was the cable so the next day i buy the cable and go to change it but the cable is fine but the shifter arm its self on side of trans has no tension doesnt click or anything.so its got to be something in the trans and my trans guy said itll be 2 weeks and 100 bucks just for him to tell me what it is cause hes realy busy.is there anything simple i could drop the pan and see if something came unhooked or came loose?ive heard something about an s clip? but im not sure i realy dont trust my self taking apart a transmission.so if anyone has any pics or an idea as to what it could be please let me know thanks.
put a drain pan under the trans pan, drop the trans pan, and get us a few well-lit pics. This won't cost you anything, won't add to any repair bills, and might save you an awful lot of $. Get us the pics, we'll walk you through it.

ok im going to try this this weekend if i can find someone to help me push it into my driveway so i can do it is there anything to look for everyone ive talked to says they thinks its a sclip above the valve body but i dont know.messing with trans makes me nervous but ill drop the pan this weekend and get some pics if i can get a hand pushen it.
