i need some help

i have a 1987 camaro 2.8l fuel injected v6 automatic tranny... the other day i just got the motor running good after sitting for a while... and i took it for a drive around the block and it shifted fine... my timing was off a lil so i brought it back to adjust it... now my car for some reason is stuck in low gear and the shifter wouldnt move it so i went under the car and manually shifted it.. but it still wont go into any other gear.... i have no idea what happened...does anyone think i need to rebuild???? please let me know if you have any ideas
