Car: 1984 Trans Am Engine: 355 Transmission: 700R4 Axle/Gears: 3.73 | What size torque converter?
| i am taking my car into the shop to fix it because i am at my wits end as to what is wrong with it and whileit isthere i am also repacing my stock torque converter. the car is a 1984 Pontiac Trans Am with a fresh 350 that i had put in hooked to a 700R4. i was looking at a 2400 stall torque converter to match up to my engine and was looking for imput as to what size to get. the engine puts out 320hp at the crank, 249 to the wheels. cam is a .515 intake, .530 exh. any imput would be greatly appreciated. | | | |
