T56 40 tooth reluctor

Does anyone know where I can find a 40 tooth reluctor wheel for the LT1 T56?? I cannot get ahold of Jags That Run, or find anyone else whom sells this part.

TIA

Re: T56 40 tooth reluctor

There's no 40-tooth reluctor, it's a 40,000ppm 17-tooth reluctor.

Call Judy at thegearbox.org. The one I bought last year was $7.50

17-Tooth Speedometer rotor (GM LT1/LS1 T56) 1352-110-013 - $7.50

There used to be ^^

What I'm trying to accomplish is get a working VSS setup for the EBL, would this reluctor from the gearbox do this??

Thanks.

Also, do you have a PN on that?

Re: T56 40 tooth reluctor

Ok, you're not looking for a stock part... This is a custom JTR piece that you'll need to get from them.

Re: T56 40 tooth reluctor

Okay, I have made a 40 tooth reluctor for the T56 by machining out the outside of the 17 tooth, and the inside of the 40 tooth, pressing them together. What you get is the 40 tooth reluctor from an auto, with the T56 mainshaft splines. I haven't tested it yet as I'm still bolting things back together from a clutch job, but I will post back with info and pics if it works. Fingers crossed!
