3800 V6 T5

First of all I searched for this, so hopefully this isn't a repost and I missed it.

'97 3800 V6
T-5 5 Speed

I have found a lot of conflicting information on this transmission. What bellhousing bolt pattern is it? SBC?

26 spline input?

Clutch size?

I would like to know if this trans could be used behind a 350. I don't want to hear about how weak it is due to the gear ratios. I just want to know if it is physicaly possible.

Thanks.

Re: 3800 V6 T5

Sorry, this has been detailed before. But the long story made short, you'll spend more trying to get it to work than it costs to buy a good used T5 for a third gen 305 application. The input shaft is Ford 10-spline, it's longer than what 305 T5s used, the bellhousing bolt pattern is different, and the 3.75:1 first gear :-)

Thank you. I figured it must have been covered before, but my search skills must suck. Thanks.
