ls1 rear with relocation brackets

Alright Well today A rearend popped up close to me that I'm interested in. I already needed the relocation brakets. But my question is will this work for me.

I know a stock ls1 rear onlything is its wider.

But what about the relocation brakets for a forth gen are they the same?

Just because the brackets are there, that doesn't mean you can't put the LCAs in the stock location.

Re: ls1 rear with relocation brackets

When you purchase LCA relocation brackets you will see that they are applicable for all 3rd gen 10 bolts. Although the rear ends are wider, the mounting locations for the shocks and LCA's are indentical between the two generations. LCA relocation brackets will work for 3rd or 4th gen rear ends.

However to Stephen's point, if they are installed wrong it doesn't mean it will work smoothly for you.

Of course they would. It wouldn't matter where the mounts were on the axle. They are still the same.

I'm not understanding this correctly. I said nothing about installing them right vs wrong (i'm not even sure you COULD install them wrong. someone would hafta be REALLY stupid to those installed wrong) I was referring to the different positions of the LCAs.
