t56 reverse lockout

i got the pigtail for the reverse lockout, but i dont know how to actually hook it up.
it was a factory auto car.
what wires go to the reverse lockout and how do they hook up?
i also dont have the reverse lights hooked up yet because i need the connector, but im not sure how ill hook those up either.

Re: t56 reverse lockout

reverse lockout, 1 goes to ground, 1 goes to the brake switch orange wire or yellow, so when you hit the brake it releases reverse. you're not going to go 4 to 5 while on the brake are you? if it works backwards, switch the wires

reverse lights, connect 1 to the blue wire in the console harness and 1 to the light green wire. they're both on the old plug that went to the auto shifter.

ok thanks.
im gonna have to figure out where that connector is exactly since i bought the car with the t56 already in it but that shouldnt be hard.
im not sure when ill be able to get under the car next but ill be on here as soon as im done with it.
