Clutches, are specs flimsy? Anyone with a Bully?

OK, so I have been searching around for this information and I couldn't find anything on here.

I'm running about 400hp and am probably going to up my nitrous shot to a 200 shot.

I was going to go with a Spec stage 2+ clutch for my T5 tranny. It stupposedly holds 600 ft lbs. I talked with a friend of mine and he was not impressed with their build quality. He has gone thru two of them and this was just in his 400hp sunfire. Its not that he ate thru it, but he also blew springs. He stated that the cages in their clutches are less than secure.

"you'd be shocked how poorly spec does their cages. You can grab the "tab" with a pair of needlenose pliers and just snap them off, it's pathetic. Which is why a lot of ppl complain they tossed a spring on a spec. The spec clutch is like they just snipped the metal and bent it up to be a "cage" but the issue is under extreme stress these tabs just bend back and let the spring loose.I tossed a spring in less than 1800 miles."

He recommended to me Bully, which I have not seen anyone on here talk about.

"I inspected the bully clutches cages... ****ing double reinforced, the springs will never come out of there. The cage is a double rolled edge that goes about 1/4 of the way over the spring on all sides"

The bully clutches' cages are stupposedly built better and the overall clutch is allegedly better. They also, according to bully, under rate their clutches as to not fully tax them. They have about 20% more holding ability than advertised.

I am really curious as to your opinions.

I am a little biased towards Mcleod. They make good product and have been around for close to 40 years.
