What length tailshaft do i want on a th350?

I have a 82 firebird with a 200c in it. I was wondering what length tailshaft i would need. I know i need the shorter one but was wondering what the correct length would be since i was told the 9" was to big.

The correct length for the shorter tailshaft would be the 6". I think there is only 2 different tailshafts for the TH350 the 6" and the 9".

Re: What length tailshaft do i want on a th350?

To use the driveshaft that came with your 200c, you want a short 6" tailshaft TH350. If you want to use a driveshaft found on third gens with a 700R4, you want a long 9" tailshaft TH350.
