Will these fit on my car? They are Motive Gear 373 with a number of
G875373 (Written on Pinion)
GM 7.5-373 (Written on box)

They'll fit in the diff but not on the carrier. Your 2.73 gears are on a 2 series carrier. Those 3.73 gears need to go onto a 3 series carrier or need to use a spacer.

If you have a 2.73 then you have a 2 series differential. If these gears are the thick gears then you will be all right. If these gears are not the thick gears then you will also need a 3 series idfferential. The thick gear is made for the 2 series. Look up the part number and see if they are made for a 2 series or a 3 series. You can probably get that information from the Motive web sight.

Well, yes and no. Yes, it will work, for a while. No, it's not the best that you can do. The Eaton is a MUCH better unit and will last 10 to 30 times longer than that one, depending on how you drive.

What about C-Clip Eliminators?

Not for street use. They have small bearings in them that don't handle side loads very well and they tend to leak when used on the street. I don't think anybody makes c clip eliminators for the 3 bolt housig flanges.

That "FREE" gear Set is going to cost you around $700 for parts and labor to have them installed. I would give them back and say No Thanks.....

I know a guy that restores cars for a living and mechanic so labor is going to be lower

I recently up- graded from 2.73 to 3.42 and a 28 spline Eaton posi.,new 28 spline axles and LPW Ultimate 10 bolt support cover and was worth every penny.
