Transmission Mount Bolts

Well I went to swap the tranny mount on my 86 Z28 with a 700r since it was exhibiting the usual symptoms but I crawl under the car and look up to see that half the work was already done for me.... the 2 bolts that hold the mount to the transmission were missing ..... Does anyone know the dimensions of these and where I can snag a couple?? I was just in shock that someone would not put them back, its a pretty critical component in the mounting procedure. Anyways, any and all help is accepted and appreciated.

Re: Transmission Mount Bolts

I believe they are 3/8 by 1.5" bolts. I picked up a few grade 8 bolts at the local hardware store and replaced mine.

They are 3/8. Not sure on lenght....I want to say 1.5 inches as well. You think I would know since I just put mine in. I do know they are 3/8 though for sure!

Thanks a lot, Its nice to get some confirmation on the size at least. I haven't made it to the tranny mount yet to change it because I worked on the interior the last time I was in town and school is taking up a large chunk of my time right now but thanks for the input and I'll pick some up the next time I'm out.
