rear end swap

Hey, my name is Alex, i just sigen up today, but have been reading for a while. I own a 85 berlinetta with a carbed 305 and a auto tranny (boo boo i know)
The first day i had the car, my t top came off on the freeway. 3 days later the pinion shaft inside my locking 10 bolt slid out and damaged the pinion gear, causing my diff to sound like a garbage disposal, even after i reassembled the diff to the way it was before. Thanks to this forum i found out any 3rd or 4th gen rear end will fit. I got a 10 bolt posi (cone cutch i belive) out of a 93 lt1 camaro and swapped it in (Pick n pull $180 with big brakes, sway bar everything i could attach to it. The wheels sticking out isnt that noticible eather. My next mod will be a wc T5 or a T56 if i get lucky. Then i will get a lt1 or a ls1, something fuel injected, for monday mornings and some extra speed.
Thans to everyone that made threads about rear end swaps and im looking to beig a part of this community
