Auto to 6spd Conversion Kit from Hawks?

Is it worth the 2200 dollars? They say it comes with everything needed.

Has anyone here ordered it from hawks?

I want to do the conversion, but finding the used parts is very difficult.

http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/ca...onversion.aspx

Thanks

Contact Hawks and ask them what comes in the kit, then we can comment.. I don't know of anyone that's ordered this kit. The picture shows either a mustang or an Aftermarket-T56, so it's hard to say what you'll get..

Actually rereading that site, it's a conversion for a '93-'97 (4thgen), not your thirdgen..

Check the T56 conversion sticky at the top of the forums and let us know what parts you can't find.. It's a fairly straight forward conversion.

Good call, it looks like hawks only has the t5 conversion. I may consider that since there people on this board running modded 350s in front of t5's and my 350 is completely stock.

Re: Auto to 6spd Conversion Kit from Hawks?

personally, i wouldnt pay that much for a swap kit unless i were lazy.
if you take the time to look around and can wait a few months, people on the board will usually have kits for sale for mid $500 to $700 including everything you will need.
then again if you are in a hurry you will pay the extra money for speed and convienience
