Having problems with transmission

Hi there...

I have some problems with my transmission. I have written some threads before about it but haven't figured anything more yet...

I think the problem is my lockup clutch. You see, that when I am driving at low speeds like 30MPH with gear in drive, the car REALLY starts to shake when the lock up engages....

It is actually so bad that I don't like driving the car. When I touch the brake pedal the shaking stops at once but as soon as I let go off the brake pedal the shaking starts again..

What could problem be?..Could it be the transmission itself or is it th lock-up?...I guess the lock-up is inside the converter so if that one is broken I might as well replace the converter?...
My engine is a 1987 305 TPI with a 700R4 transmission.

It was originally a Lg4 engine but I swapped to TPI the last year.
I have also bought some CHIP burning equipment and burned my first chip. I used some stock engine setting for the correct model of my engine and transmission, but still this shaking is coming. It feels like the lock up engages and disengages very HARD...

Any ideas??

Any way I could test if it is the lock-up?....
