I have an 84 camaro with a t5 tranny. I replaced the slave cylinder. Had somebody push in the clutch, i release the bleeder screw, screw it back in, and then they left off. Repeated this multiple times and the peddle has not gotten any stiffer. It comes back up but has no resistance really at all. The first few times, i could hear air coming out. After that i stopped hearing anything and fluid is not coming out. The resevoir was full, it seemed to of lost a little fluid so i topped it off. Any ideas???

get a piece of clear tubing that fit the bleeder nipple tightly, raise the car so you can get a pop bottle or whatever under it, put the hose on the bleeder and the other end submerged in fluid in the bottle open the bleeder a bit and wait, you will need to watch the fluid level in the reservoir and add (without causing bubbles) every now and then. When the fluid in the hose is all clear with no bubbles you should be done. If you still don't have a pedal by then you've probably mesed up your master pumping it dry

I do something similar. I use a plastic bottle full of fluid with a nipple and a long hose attached. I put the hose on the bleeder, open the bleeder and raise the bottle above the resvoir and squeeze the bottle until the reservoir is full. Then tighten the bleeder and it should be good.

Should i be dumping the fluid into the diaphram of the resevoir tank? I replaced the clutch line also before I replaced the slave cylinder. When i took the line out of the old slave not even a drop came out of the line. Also when I replaced the line instead of putting the little pins it came with through the wholes of the master and slave cylinder to hold them in...I used cotter pins(could be the problem). Doesnt seem to leak any fluid or air though...

Would have recomended to bench bleed it before you installed it, makes it easier to bleed out the system later.
